Manage members, roles, and teams

Organization settings collect everything about your organization: its name and logo, defaults such as the time zone, members, teams, and more. Open them from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Administrators and the owner can change them.
Roles in the organization
| Role | May do |

| Owner | Everything, including billing, ownership transfer, and deleting the organization. There is exactly one owner. |
| Administrator | Manage members, invitations, teams, and organization settings. |
| Member | Use the organization and create boards and Spaces. |
These roles do not open boards. Access to each board and Space is set separately, see Manage who can open a board. So an administrator does not see a board that nobody shared with them.
Change a role or remove a member
- Open the Members tab (box 1).
- Change the role in the Role column (box 2). Compare roles (box 3) explains each role.
- To remove someone, open the … menu of the row and choose Remove member (box 4). Kanroo asks who takes over the boards and Spaces that person owns.
Only the owner can make another member the owner. The previous owner then becomes an administrator.
Create teams
- Open the Teams tab and choose Create team (box 1).
- Select a team (box 2) to see and change its members.
- The team menu (box 3) renames or deletes the team.
- Pick a person in Add organization member and choose Add to team (box 1).
- Each member (box 2) has a remove button (box 3).
A change takes effect at once: a new team member gets the team’s board access immediately, and a removed one loses it.
Other tabs
- Organization: name, logo, default language, first day of the week, time zone, and the organization address. The danger zone deletes the organization.
- Collaboration: live updates and presence, see See who is online.
- SSO, Audit, and Billing: single sign-on, the audit log, and the plan. SSO and the audit log are part of Kanroo Cloud and the Enterprise Edition.
