Mark a list as done
GuideUpdated
On this page
Kanroo has no separate “complete” checkbox. A task is done when it sits in the done list of its board. Each board can have one done list. A new board has none, also when a list is called “Done”, so you choose it once.
What the done list changes:
- A task in the done list is never overdue, on the card, in the calendar, and on Home.
- Home shows a 7-day chart of the tasks moved to the done list.
- Recurring tasks need a done list: they come back from there.
- The API and AI agents can ask for open or for done tasks.
Only board managers can set the done list.
From the list menu
- Open the … menu in the header of the list.
- Choose Mark as done list (box 1).
- The done list now shows a small check icon next to its name (box 2).
From the board settings
- Open the board actions with the ⋮ button or Shift+A.
- Choose Board settings.
- Pick the list in Done list (box 1), or None to remove it. Choose Save.
Tips
- Moving a task out of the done list makes it open again. Nothing else to undo.
- If you delete the done list, the board has none afterwards. Kanroo says so in the confirmation.
- On a public board, the check icon marks the done list too.
