Where Kanroo is different
Every view on every plan
Board, Swimlane, Calendar and Table views are on every Kanroo plan, Free included. At Trello, the Table, Timeline and Dashboard views need Premium.
A wiki next to your boards
Kanroo has a wiki built in: spaces, nested pages, Mermaid diagrams and version history. Tasks and pages link to each other. Trello has no wiki; Atlassian sells Confluence separately.
Workspace data stays in the EU
Kanroo’s servers are in Nuremberg, files are stored in Amsterdam, and email leaves from Paris. Both sub-processors are European. Trello runs on AWS and offers no EU data residency.
When Trello is the better choice

- You need a timeline or dashboard view. Trello has both on Premium; Kanroo has no timeline yet.

- You want AI built into your boards.
