What each limit meansFair usage instead of storage quotas.
There is no total storage quota and no limit on the number of uploads. Only the size of one file depends on the plan.
In return, use Kanroo for the work of your organization, not as a file host, backup service or CDN. Kanroo does not slow down, block or delete uploads because you store a lot. We act only on real abuse.
Read the Fair Usage PolicyDowngrade without losing work.
Boards, tasks, files, wiki pages and members stay when you move to a lower plan. Only two kinds of history follow the new limits: audit log entries older than its retention, and saved wiki-page versions above its limit.
The organization becomes read-only in two cases: it has more members than the new plan allows, or its owner already has a Free organization. It stays read-only until you change that or choose a higher plan. Reading and exporting keep working.

What 10 people pay in a year.
List prices in the currency each vendor publishes, billed yearly where offered. Checked on 13 October 2026. Kanroo is not the lowest seat price. It is a fair one, with nothing held back.

- Trello Standard and Plane Pro cost less than Kanroo Team on the entry plan. Some tools not listed here cost less too. See every comparison.
- Dollar prices are not converted. Jira is not listed because Atlassian changed its prices on 13 October 2026.
- Product names are trademarks of their owners. We name them only to compare.
Questions about pricing
Is there a trial?
No. Start on Free and upgrade when your team joins. Your organization keeps its data.
What counts as a seat?
One active member: owner, admin or member. Pending invitations do not count. Teams inside the organization do not add seats. There is no minimum number of seats.
How much can I store?
No storage quota, and no limit on the number of uploads. Only the size of one file depends on the plan: up to 5 MiB on Free, 25 MiB on Team and 50 MiB on Enterprise. Fair use applies. Use Kanroo for your work, not as a file host or backup service.
What happens when I add or remove someone?
A seat above the seats already paid this period is billed right away. A removed seat stays paid until the period ends and drops off at renewal. There is no credit for the unused time. Re-adding a member within the paid seats costs nothing.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes, in the billing portal. The change starts at the end of the current period.
What happens when I downgrade?
Your boards, tasks, files and pages stay. In most cases the previous limits apply for 7 more days. After that, audit log entries older than the new retention and saved wiki-page versions above the new limit are removed. The organization becomes read-only if it has more members than the new plan allows, or if its owner already has a Free organization. Reading and exporting keep working.
What if a payment fails?
The organization stays on Team while Polar retries the payment. If it does not succeed, the organization moves to Free.
Who handles payments?
Polar Software, Inc. (USA) sells paid plans as merchant of record. Polar handles checkout, invoices and tax. It receives the owner’s email address and user ID, a billing email address if the owner enters one, the organization name and ID, the plan and the number of seats, and after an ownership transfer the new owner’s name. It never receives your boards, tasks or pages.
Can I have more than one organization?
Yes. Each account has one Free organization. Every further organization needs a paid plan.
Are there special terms for non-profits?
Yes, on request: schools, universities, associations, foundations and other non-profits can get special terms for Enterprise.
Start on your own. Add your team when you are ready.
