The Kanroo core is AGPL-3.0. If Kanroo Cloud stops fitting, you can run the same core on your own server.
Every party is named
Kanroo publishes its two sub-processors and where your data lives. Your own agent connects through MCP; no AI vendor is in the loop.

Is Kanroo cheaper than MeisterTask?

Is Kanroo hosted in Germany too?
Kanroo’s servers are in Nuremberg, Germany. Files are stored in Amsterdam and email is sent from Paris. All of it is in the EU.
Does Kanroo have AI like Meister AI?
No. Kanroo has no built-in AI. You can connect your own agent, such as Claude Code, through the MCP server on every plan.
Can clients see my boards for free?
Yes, as a read-only public board, which search engines are told not to index. Clients who need to work in Kanroo become members and count as seats.
Can I move my MeisterTask projects?
Yes, through CSV with column mapping. There is no direct importer.
