Questions about switching from Trello
Is Kanroo free?
The Free plan has every feature and no time limit. Teams use the Team plan: €8 per seat per month, billed yearly, or €10 billed monthly.
Is Kanroo open source?
The core is open source under AGPL-3.0, and you can self-host it without plan limits. Kanroo Cloud has every feature on every plan. When you self-host, server features such as SSO, live updates and webhooks come with the Enterprise Edition.
Where is my data stored?
The servers are at netcup in Nuremberg, Germany. Files are stored with Scaleway in Amsterdam, and email is sent from Paris. Workspace data is hosted and processed in the EU.
What happens to my Trello comments and attachments?
They are not imported. Lists, tasks, labels and checklists are. Keep the Trello export if you need the comments later.
Does Kanroo work on phones?
Kanroo is a web app you can install on your phone. It has no native apps and does not work offline.
How large can attachments be?
Up to 5 MiB per file on Free and 25 MiB on Team. There is no total storage quota, only our fair usage rules.
