Documentation
Kanroo mostly explains itself. When it does not, here are guides with screenshots and the reference for boards, wiki, team, integrations, and your account.
Getting started
- Find your way around the Home screenWhat each part of the Kanroo Home screen shows: your numbers, the week, Now, Stuck, changes since your last visit, boards, and wiki pages.
- Search tasks, boards, and pagesOpen the Kanroo search with Shift+K, find tasks, boards, and wiki pages, include archived items, and read the matching text snippets.
- Keyboard shortcutsAll Kanroo keyboard shortcuts for boards, tasks, and the wiki, and how to open the shortcut list with Shift+?.
Boards & tasks
- Create a boardCreate a Kanroo board from scratch or from a template, and save your own boards as templates for your organization.
- Create a taskCreate a Kanroo task with title, description, list, priority, due date, labels, and assignees, then add checklists, files, and comments.
- Switch views and filter a boardShow a Kanroo board as Kanban, swimlanes, calendar, or table, filter its tasks, and share the exact view with a link.
- Mark a list as doneTell Kanroo which list holds finished tasks: done tasks are never overdue, Home counts them, and recurring tasks need it.
- Repeat a taskMake a Kanroo task come back every week, month, or year: how the Repeat field works, what it needs, and what happens when the task is done.
- Set a WIP limit, a list color, and moreUse the Kanroo list menu: soft work-in-progress limits, list colors, reorder, rename, archive all tasks of a list, and delete a list.
- Archive and restore tasks and boardsArchive finished Kanroo tasks, lists, and boards without losing them, find them again in the archive, and restore them.
- Import a board from Trello or a CSV fileMove a board into Kanroo from a Trello JSON export, a CSV file from Jira, Asana, or a spreadsheet, or a Kanroo export. Review it before it is created.
