Change your name, avatar, and theme

Your profile is the same in every organization you belong to. Open Personal settings from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. The Account tab opens first.

Steps

  1. Change avatar (box 1) uploads a picture. Without one, Kanroo shows your initials.
  2. Select your display name (box 2) to edit it. Many teams use a short form, such as “Dejan Vi.”.
  3. Appearance (box 3): choose Light, Dark, or System. System follows your computer’s setting. The choice is saved in this browser.
  4. Delete account (box 4) removes your account. Read Delete your account first: it explains what is deleted and what blocks a deletion.

Good to know

  • Your name and avatar show to your teammates, on public boards next to your comments and tasks, and in public wiki pages that mention you as plain text.
  • Your email address never shows on public pages.
  • Kanroo has no passwords. You sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email address, or with single sign-on if your organization uses it.
  • Security in the personal settings lists your sign-ins and API key events of the last 90 days.
