Help shape Kanroo.

Kanroo grows with the people who use it. Look at the roadmap, tell us what you miss, send code, or tell a colleague. Every bit helps, and none of it is required.

Roadmap

See what comes next.

Our roadmap is a public Kanroo board. Your ideas and bug reports arrive through a form and move across lists like on the demo board below, from new to shipped.

  1. Every idea is a task with its own key, such as RM-12.
  2. Want an idea sooner? Tell us through the feedback form and name its key.
  3. Ideas that many people ask for move up.

Tell us what works, and what does not.

One form for everything. Pick the label that fits, and we see your message on our own board.

  • Request a feature

Describe the problem you want to solve, not only the solution. Choose the label Feature request.

Contribute

Send code to the open-source core.

The core of Kanroo is open source under AGPL-3.0, and contributions are open. The contribution guide in the repository has every rule. Here is the short version.

  1. Open an issue first

Before larger work, open an issue, so we agree on the direction before you write code.

  2. Sign the CLA once

CLA Assistant asks on your first pull request. You keep the copyright in your work.

  3. Run the checks

Format, lint, type check and tests must pass. Then open the pull request and describe what you changed and why.

Before you open a pull requestin the repository root
pnpm format
pnpm lint
pnpm typecheck
pnpm test
pnpm docs:check

Contributions go to the open-source core. The Enterprise Edition accepts no outside contributions.
