GuideUpdated

On this page

Kanroo stores wiki pages, task descriptions, and comments as Markdown. You can type the syntax below directly in the editor, paste it, import it with Import Markdown, or send it through the API and MCP. The editor shows the result as formatted text.

Wiki pages support everything on this page. Task descriptions and comments support everything except the rows marked “Pages only”.

You type You get

`code` code

A table looks like this:

A callout looks like this:

> [!WARNING]
> No deployments on launch day after 12:00.

Use the editor for these. Type @ for a person, and choose Insert › Link page, Link task, Link attachment, or Image for the rest. Kanroo stores them with internal IDs, so they follow renames and show “No access” to readers who cannot open the target. Images must be page attachments; an image from a web address is not supported.

Not supported

Kanroo rejects or leaves out:

  • headings 5 and 6 (a paste turns them into heading 4),
  • raw HTML (it shows as plain text and never runs),
  • merged table cells, column alignment, and text alignment,
  • footnotes, link titles, relative links, and links with other schemes such as mailto:,
  • images from web addresses (a paste turns them into links).

Limits: a page holds up to 65,536 characters, a task description 16,384, and a comment 2,048.
